Ladder Updated for End of H&A Season

The AFL CNE ladder has been updated to reflect the Round 10 results.

Huddersfield defeated Leeds to pinch 4th place from Wolverhampton. The Wolves lost to Nottingham. In the final game Sheffield defeated Birmingham.

Congratulations to Manchester who finished the home-and-away season undefeated and on top of the ladder. Congratulations also goes to Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Leeds. Despite missing out on the finals these teams were always competitve and never lay down. All three of these teams boast young squads with players who are new to the game and are improving week by week. We can’t wait to see them return next year and give the Manchesters and Nottinghams of the league a real run for their money.

The sudden-death semi finals with be played this Saturday 4th August at Nottingham. The first game will be Nottingham vs Sheffield at 12.30pm. The second game will be Manchester vs Huddersfield at 2.30pm. The winners of both games will play off in the Grand Final on 11th August.

Please bring all your friends and family to the games in Nottingham this weekend as it promises to be a fantastic day. Even for people who are not from one of the competing clubs it would be great to have you down and show your support for the league.
