Leeds win 2013 AFL CNE Grand Final

On Saturday 27th July Leeds defeated reigning premiers Manchester to win the AFL Central and Northern England Grand Final by 43 points.
Final score was Leeds 19.12 126 to 11.17 83 Manchester. The Grand Final was a top quality game and showed how far the game has come in this country. Leeds flew out of the blocks early to hold a 54 point lead at half time. The third quarter was goal for goal. In the final quarter Manchester piled on 5 goals in a row to bring the margin back to 24 points. In the end though Leeds showed their class and pulled away in the final 10 minutes to record a well-deserved premiership after an undefeated season.
